Pope Moves To End Schism

My prediction is that we will see a general indult from the Pope allowing any priest to celebrate Mass in the Tridentine Rite without having to ask permission of the local Bishop. A welcome change in my opinion.
VATICAN CITY Pope Benedict XVI met Monday with the head of the ultraconservative movement founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre - a meeting the Vatican said was held in the hope of bringing the schismatic group back into "perfect communion" with Rome.

There was no immediate comment from Lefebvre's Society of St. Pius X. The society has rejected previous efforts by the Vatican to bring Lefebvre's followers, who reject the Second Vatican Council and celebrate Mass in Latin, back into Rome's fold.
